Puichéric is typical of the Minervois area of France - a village clustered round its church and surrounded by vineyards. This house in the centre of the village is a typical village house with its tiled floors and open fire place.

Its closeness to the Canal du Midi and the river Aude make it ideal for walking and cycling and it is central for visiting a very interesting part of Southern France - the area from Narbonne to Carcassonne, from Minerve to the castles of the Corbières It has a selection of excellent local shops - baker, butcher, mini-market, fruit and vegetables, newsagent, hairdresser and pharmacy, and also a doctor and dentist and a local bar/café.
